Has anyone experienced this feeling?  If so did it go away by itself or did you need to take PPI's?   Mine is present 24/7.  When I eat something it is sort of soothed by the food then it's back again.  It feels like I have been sucking on a minty lolly for ages.

I remember someone posting that same question last year...
I think she discovered it was something to do with her toothpaste???
She was swallowing it and burping it back up?

Aren't our bodies such a puzzle sometimes! Just as I was starting to feel really good this just appeared out of no where. Hopefully it will dissapear just as fast as it came.

Very funny you should post this, today I felt "minty" in my chest and stomach. It was weird, like a hot stingy feeling you get when using very freshminty toothpaste. It happened when I ate one of the new flavour Rocky bars, theyre called crunch or something. A very weird sensation I must say.

I bit the bullet and tried taking PPI's over the weekend and the symptoms did not lessen at all so obviously not acid related. Over the weekend the sensation has gradualy moved down my throat so now it's sort of mid chest level. So strange!
