Sore and irritated after my scope.

How many days is normal to feel sore and irritated after a scope? I am going on 1 week. They removed a nodule from my tummy and took a few biopsies.

The biopsy sites will probably be sore for a couple of more days.

I had mild soreness after scope but no biopsies. I suspect it is differnt for each person.

I didn't have any soreness or irritation after mine ( I had the endoscopy then the colonoscopy) and had biopsies done.

Hope you feel better soon. I wouldn't let it continue for too long. Just give them a call and let them know. You should not be uncomfortable. My sil felt funny and on the third day after she was rushed to the ER. She had a perforation.

List the symptoms/feelings. Take your temp. Just see what they say for you to do.

after my scopes i was usually irritated for only a day or 2.
