For me, it's been 8 years of GERD and it's been 8 months with LPRD
After awhile, my mind started to ACCEPT the symptoms for what they are. You feel better about it and symptoms become also less severe as well since you naturally stop doing things that make it worse such as heavy meals.
unless you are the type of person who does not learn from mistakes. everyone starts to avoid certain food and certain lifestyle over a long time to adjust.
GERD is very complex so that it is better to consider it sometimes as life long complication. Based on what's given as a condition, the question is what's the best way for me to live my life having this condition?
I am not too certain but the success rates for surgeries is not even that high... and it can lead to other complications. My friend had fundop from GERD and he then developed severe LPRD.
