Headed for surgery.......

Had my last treatment for Barrets Tuesday and have been scheduled for Nissen surgery March 30. To say the least I am nervous but I am ready to try anything at this point. Tired of taking 80 mg of Nexium and not having any relief. I hope I can get on this forum and report a successful procedure. The Mayo has a good track record, I was going to have the surgery done locally but the doctors at the Mayo convinced to stay with them. Told me that have fixed many surgerys that had been done elsewhere. So I will keep ya'll posted as how it goes.

Good Morning.  I know you will find so many successful stories here in the forum.  I am wondering if you are referring Mayo in Rochester, MN.  I am a fan of Mayo but I have also heard great things re Johns Hopkins University Hospital.  

Alcie has adviced you well, go to the best place you can find with the best record for success.
