Gallbladder problems?

Symptoms may include one or more of the following: chest pain in the right side (caused by stones in the bile duct or inflammation or swelling of the gallbladder itself). Nausea or queasiness, vomiting and gas are frequent. There may or may not be belching or burping. The gall bladder, which sits just below the rib cage to the right of the stomach, is very tender to touch. It can be so painful that it takes your breath away.

You may not be able to walk without bending over. Sometimes the pain radiates through to the back shoulder blade on the right side or in the middle between the shoulder blades. This is pain from the gallbladder being referred to the back of the shoulder. This back shoulder blade chest pain is one of the most common yet unknown symptoms of a gallbladder disorder. This can come and go or be constant. It may be sharp, excruciating or dull. It may also occur especially at night.

A gallbladder attack will typically last for one to four hours

I had my gallbladder removed many years ago and my major sx was a burning sensation in my stomach.  My gallbladder was full of sandy like gritty material.

i`m sorry to hear about your problem,
to me it sounds like it`s your gallbladder,it`s very common after a nissen fundo that the gallbladder couses problems.
to me it happend three months after my esophyx procedure,my gallbladder was severly inflamed and i had it removed 10 weeks ago when they did my nissen fundo.
my symptomps where,pain under the right ribs and into the back,sometimes pinches and nausea.
my stool was yellow and my urine darker as usual ans it smelt very strong.

Thanks everyone! I wouldn't find it that bad except for the shaking. Anyone else had this or is that something else? What tests do I need to find out if it is my gallbladder? My stool looks an okay colour to me but it does burn quite often (when I can go  - I am very constipated). Urine looks fine. I appreciate all your help and guidance. What would I do without you guys?

Can anyone help me with my problems that i have and give me their opinion on what to do. For a little over a couple years now i have had some chest pains. I had the usual test run on me. Ultra sound and stress tests done on my heart. Cause there is a big family history of heart problems on both side of my family tree. All the tests that i had done showed no problems with my heart at all. But i still have the chest pains. And about a week or two before i have a big chest pain spell i have headaches nonstop. Then i usually have a bad chest pain spell. It hurts in between my breast and radiates in my upper back. And it hurts in my ribs as well. It feels like someone is squeezing my body and then let up only to feel it all over again. And the pain is really sharp and it has dropped me to my knees. And just taking a regular breath hurts. At first i thought it was arthritis related but i don't think it is. I have psoriatic arthritis too. Some of the chest pains that i have is just dull and not as sharp but bad enough to know i am having chest pains. For the most part i usually have them during the day and late evening but now i have been woke up by the pain when i was sleeping. This is really scary for me and i don't know what to do. I do have health insurance but haven't talked with my doctor yet mainly because i know she will want to run gobs of tests on me again. And i just don't have the money to have all those tests run on me for them to tell me that they don't know what is wrong with me. I am impatient and i want results. I dont like spending money when nobody cant' give me the answers i need.

Go see an ENT and they can tell if it's gerd related without too many expensive tests.

Calculi = gallstones.  This  could easily cause your sx IMHO.

My hubby had major bowel surgery and on his tests prior to surgery they noted he had gallstones in his gallbladder.  The surgeon opted to remove gallbladder as long as he was having surgery for his Crohn's rather then wait until he had GB sx too.

I managed to get an appointment early this evening with a doctor, and I got Tramadol 50MG, (also called Zydol) if the pain gets bad I will try them, but will take paracetamol in the meantime.

Anyone ever tried Tramadol (Zydol)?

Oceanz, when I was having gb attacks and pain a heating pad seemed to help me, also lying on my left side for some reason. Fennel extract helps gb spasms so I would chew on some fennel seeds too. I hope the meds help and hopefully you can get that thing out of you..mine has been out for a week now and instantly was I relieved from the aching and the burning pain!
