Getting wrapped tomorrow

My uncle has been taken off of all life support measures (feeding IV etc). We have spent almost all day at the hospital especially over the last few days. Tonight I said my goodbyes to him since I know he'll be gone if not tomorrow within a few days.

So tomorrow is the day. With everything that's been happening it has taken my mind off of the surgery. My cousin (who's dad is dying) and his wife are staying with us. It's been an emotional week to say the least.

I am getting a little anxious about it now though. We went to the steakhouse tonight because I wanted to try to enjoy a nice filet before my new diet. Funny thing was is that I couldn't really enjoy it. Oh well.

I have to be at the outpatient surgery center at 10 a.m.

Thank again everyone for all your advanced advice. I am sure I will be running back here to ask for more.

Guess I will be seeing everyone on the "wrapped" side.

Hi Sammi,
I'm so sorry to hear about your uncle. I'm sure it adds a lot of stress to be going through that just before your surgery.

Good luck tomorrow! I'm sure you'll do just fine. We'll be waiting here to welcome you into the Wrapped Club! I'll look forward to hearing from you when you feel up to posting.

Wishing you the best on this surgery day. Looking forward to your postings about your progress and recovery.

Sorry to hear about your uncle. I am glad you were able to say your good-byes and know that he is in good hands with your cousins while your are in surgery and recovering.

Today is your day to lay back and become a member of the wrapped club.  I am thinking of you and sending many healing prayers your way.  You will soon be on the other side of this surgery.

I am sorry to read of your uncle and I commend you for saying your good byes before you faced your surgery.

Sammi, I had mine on Wednesday mornig. So far so good, except for the shoulder pain. I am sorry to hear about your family. I am having some of the same issues with my Mother and Father-in-law.
