Hi all, Me again.
It's been a month now after my Nissen. Things are going quite well.
I am close to eating normally. I burp, a lot! Infact, even when I have water, I burp. I burped from the start, so I guess I can count myself as a lucky one. And thank my surgeon! Thanks Doc!
Well, one month and I have had no reflux! I had once or twice where I felt funny after eating a challenging food for the first time too early I guess, but I have not chocked on reflux or vommited for over 30 days! That is great!
So, my questions are... First, I'm still cautious about taking it slow with what I consume. Habit I guess, but still now I can't try everything all at once. CanI start doing salad, gassy cooldrink etc? Since I burp freely, I don't think gas causing stuff should be an issue with me, right?
Yhen, I've been at work for over a week now. No more dizzy spells, and I don't feel that weak anymore. So is it fine to return to gym to start cycling slowly? When can I start jogging and yoga? Light weights etc? Or should I still be taking it easy?
Anyway. I still have a funny sensation now and then in my chest. And since I am very prone to anxiety, things got quite bad for a while after the surgery. I went to the Doc and asked for antideps again. Just as I started taking them, I took some L-Theanine. An amino acid available as a supplement. I swear it's made 75% better from the start, so I stopped the antidep immediatley. It's been a week and I feel a lot better. Has anyone ever had anxiety and tried it? And if you do have anxiety probs, try it, let me know what you think? I feel better, so do you think I'm doing the right thing or should I be on antidep's?
Well, hope you guys are all doing better day by day. I learnt acceptance is a powerfull tool to healing and a peaceful soul!
