Thanks Mock,
My current physician wanted me to have an upper gi done to determine if i had Achalasia so he could determine the type of wrap to perform, which i haven't received the results yet, He also wants me to have the manometry test which is what i have been waiting on. When i first went to him i made it clear that i wanted the surgery, I've been on omeprozale for about 4 months and it's not having the effect it did when i first started taking it. I've been having severe acid reflux the past week which i made clear to his nurse the last time we spoke. I've adjusted my diet about as much as i can, nothing fried, nothing spicy, high in sodium,no alcohol or soda, nothing citric. Basically all i eat is baked chicken, baked fish, rice lots of water, milk, occasional peaches and rice. I've lost almost 60 lbs in the 8 months.Broccoli sprouts i'm not so sure about, last time i ate them i remember getting terrible gas. Any other suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again.
