throat

I have also been sick from my throat for the past month or so. I can not swallow any kind of food because it gets stuck in my throat. It will only go down if I drink water right away. I went to an ENT specialist & he says it's acid reflux. He prescribed me Omeprazole but it's been a month & I still can't eat any solid food only soups. Before getting sick from this, my food was getting stuck right in the middle of my chest & that also lasted one month but then this happened. Has anyone experienced this feeling & if so, how long does it last? I'm tired of not being able to eat food. Thanks.

Hello and welcome to HealingWell.  I agree, you need to see a Dr. and may I suggest a GI specialist as you may need further tests. 

I hope you are soon feeling better or at least have more input from a Dr. re what to do to help you.
