I drink a lot of tea, often three cups per day. Several teas are thought to aid digestion, including chamomile, rooibos and licorice. Those are the flavors I usually drink, but I also have green tea around. Tea does bother some people, but I believe it is an individual matter. Even the "safe for GERD" foods seem to bother a number of people. So don't be afraid to experiment with tea. I find it helpful for settling my stomach after a meal. I no longer take a PPI, I eat well (Koufman diet), take Zantec, and have made many lifestyle changes.
