Hi Bill,It's great to hear about the continued success of your daughter's athletic career! What fun for you. Is the college she's thinking about attending close to home, so you can follow her play?
It sounds as if you've got a plan now for dealing with what's going on. Hmmmm I just wonder where you might have gotten catcher's knee? I hope the PT works for you. Sometimes it can help because the exercises lubricate the knee and get things moving.
Good luck with it all. Glad to see you here on the forum again!
Joy,
I get the prednosone crash...hopefully it's better now. Allergies have been terrible this year, so I have no doubt that you're dealing with pollen issues Hang in there!
I'm struggling because I have to stay in most of the time or I'm suffering big time. I'm seeing my allergist on Friday so it'll be interesting to hear his take. He and his NP are always telling me that I shouldn't have to stay inside! Easy for them to say.
Are you washing your hair at night before bedtime? If not, you'll have pollen on your pillow and increase your allergy symptoms. It's a pain in the neck, but I do it. Also, nasal rinsing whenever you come in from outdoors. I also carry a saline spray in my purse so I can rinse my nose when I'm not at home.
I don't do it all right...supposed to take all your outdoor clothes off as soon as you enter the house and isolate them. Comeon. It's just impossible to do everything! Hope your cough improves soon.
Have a great week!
Denise
