Nissen Hill Hybrid GERD Surgery

I have another question and thought I would start a new post instead of adding it to my current post.

Has anyone gone through or completed some research on the Nissen Hill Hybrid Surgery?

Has anyone gone through the Hill Surgery and if so what are your thoughts and outcomes?

Not very much information is available and I'm considering having either the Nissen, Hill, or the Nissen-Hill Hybrid performed on me.

Please if anyone has any ideas or opinions I would love to hear those also.

My surgeon told me he was doing the modified Hill procedure on me. I've had no complaints about the success. It's been almost three years for me. :)

Dr. Bagnato is on my list for the Hill along with Dr. Wright & Dr. Aye.

couchtater do you have any idea about the hardiness of your surgery compared to the classic Nissen? Just wondering because it appears that the point of the Nissen/Hill Hybrid is to combine the qualities of the two and I figure that it would make something that could withstand more activity.
