Mouth Sores+Gerd

I have mouth sores on a regular basis. I have started taking prevacid(30mg) again. I dont have any gerd symptoms during the day. When I sleep, I do elevate my head. I do have minor sore throat symptoms. I eat a controlled diet. I dont have thrush.

Can mouth sores be caused due to Prevacid ? Any natural ways of dealing with mouth sores?

I know I get sores on the back of my throat (clear ones) from the acid reflux and sore throats a night. Is that what you are talking about? I'm also on PrevAcid but just assume this is from the nightly reflux?

Yes, it may be from reflux. Please google "Study in oral cavity alterations in patients with gastroesophageal reflux disease"

and read the English abstract. Sores and other symptoms are more common in the GERD group.
