Less than 24 hrs for my surgery into the Wrap Club--

regarding the post about feeling a lump in the chest, same here, but only after I drink a lot of fluids. think it's just the swelling of the wrap. you'll be fine as long as u keep up with the fluids and don't overdo like lifting heavy objects, twisting a lot at the waist, etc

Please be careful with any Dr. My Dr. in Lorton, VA lied to me on multiple occasions. Before he performed the first nissen surgery on me, he never shared the test results with me which were normal. I never needed the surgery. I have my attorney reviewing all of my medical records pertaining to this. Furthermore, I am filing a complaint on the Lorton, VA Dr. with the Virginia Department of Health. Please be careful of what he tells you. Every office visit he told me something different and again lied to both me and my wife on multiple occasions.

WOW! That's crazy; of all the posts in all the internet you two had the same surgeon as me. I had the surgery over a year ago and am doing great. I'm lifting weights again and am feeling great. There are bumps and scares along the way (ruining the surgery was always something that freaked me out), but that is the case with pretty much every (successful) surgery I've read about here.

I would say his bedside manner is not perfect, and I don't know exactly what happened with your situation, biged, but I can try and let Worrisome relax a bit and let you know that he is an excellent surgeon. I just googled his name, too, and it brought up excellent reviews.

My advice, Worrisome, is to read as much as you can on this site regarding your recovery, and post whenever you have a question or concern. That was a huge help for me.

Trust me, I'm not trying to say good things about him to go against what you're saying, biged, as if you have genuine complaints you should voice them. But I just want it to be known he helped me.
