I was just thinking, after reading everyone's symptoms there seems to be a lot of burning in various places. I don't have burning, very occasionally I have a stinging but I can cough that away.

Most of my symptoms are pulmonary (mostly coughing) but the acid goes all the way up to my nose and makes me sneeze. Shouldn't acid burn there? Does that mean I might have non acid or bile reflux?

Also does anyone here have hyper-inflated lungs? I do and I'm wondering if it is related to all the coughing.

When my LPR is at its worst, I also sneeze a lot. My reflux has been confirmed as acid.

I just had a chest x-ray and I now have hyper-inflated lungs too! Have had Gerd for many years. The Doc gave me an Advair inhaler sample. She thinks it might be "hidden asthma". I don't buy it. My breath test was very good and I don't wheeze or am short of breath. As a matter of fact I feel darn terrific if it wasn't for the never ending mucous in my throat, my ever-present stuffed up nose and the constant clearing of my throat coughs!
