swollen lymph nodes

I am just wondering, i have been getting swollen lymph nodes on and off for the past few weeks and was wondering whether or not that is due to the reflux constantly scarring my esophagus and making it more prone to infections. If anyone else with gerd has experienced this please respond

i am scheduled for a ph test at the end of the month and have an appoitment with a gi next week but my fear is that he will just try to give me more meds that wont help
