Thegspeak, welcome to the forum.
I hope you don't still think you have to give up all foods you love or that there is no "well" without surgery. There are all sorts of things to try, so don't give up!
I had loads of trouble after eating, but figured out that certain foods were triggering my symptoms. I went to an allergist who told me I had no food allergies, so I went to another one who said "Of course you have food allergies," and got me started keeping a food journal. It took months to get a good list and then I had to do food challenges to find the individual ingredients in the foods that were the culprits. (example: It wasn't the whole hamburger. It was the bread and condiments.) My problem foods are mainly preservatives and foods changed by processing. (No problem with corn, but corn starch is bad.)
I recommend seeing a gastroenterologist and also an allergist if you can. The forum will hopefully give you support and ideas to help yourself, but we aren't doctors.
Best wishes. Keep in touch!
