Why no chocolate afte NF?

I am scheduled for a NF on 3/6. I have read on many websites for diets after surgery & they all say no chocolate including chocolate flavorings - no choc milk, no choc shakes, no choc ice creams, etc....does anyone know why? bummer choc protein shakes are my favorite.

You can enjoy it again at 6 weeks mark.

I had chocolate pudding in the hospital after my nissen.

I had chocolate protein drinks starting on day 1. I think every Dr. is different with their instructions.
