Hello!
I recently was diagnosed with GERD two years ago, and it manifested itself in the form of burping after certain trigger foods, or simply eating too much at once. Now, this has almost completely transitioned to me throwing up foods after I eat them! Sometimes, it is uncontrollable, even when I am sitting up . Other times, I know it will happen, so all i have to do is drink some water after a certain meal and lean down towards a garbage can, and the food just comes out. I understand this is indeed "gross", but I am seeking anyone's guidance. I have made an appt for a GP first, as I want a holistic perspective as to what is wrong...is this within normal limits of GERD??
Triggers for me have been really anything that is processed- especially chocolate and tomato sauces, and ice cream is almost always a definite. Could this be a stomach thing as well? Has anyone had this before?
