Hi Linda,Glad to hear you're doing well! See? I found I was amazed at the "do-ability" of the recovery...I'd prepared myself for a horrible experience, and found that the recovery was easier than I could have ever hoped for.
That said, there are people who enter into this recovery having heard from their surgeon that it will be a walk in the park. Those, I think, are the people who are smacked in the face with the challenges. I think it's better to expect the worst and find it's better than expected.
Glad to hear that your swallowing continues to be doing well. Just take it a day at a time, and listen when your tummy talks.
On another subject...if you can swallow small gelcaps, there are some stool softeners that work great. You don't really have to worry about your constipation, as it's really common. Don't be surprised if once you unplug you find yourself with the opposite problem!
