So now a month since surgery and I'm noticing I get hiccups and cottonmouth a lot now

I am a 33 year old active mom of 3 little ones. I am recommended to get the Tif for a solution to lifelong GERD after having many tests. However, I am very hesitant to do any sort of surgery that could change my active lifestyle for the worse. Currently, PPIs work (most of the time) and I really don't know what life is like w/o GERD...so I am fine with just living with what I know for now. So I am curious as to how you are feeling after a year? Thx!

Ok so had Tif 2 weeks ago and I feel amazing. I've been able to eat just about anything since day one of the surgery with almost no pain at all. I was on Omeprazole for 2 years prior to surgery had a drop, endoscopy, and can't remember name of procedure but had tube in stomach for 24hrs. This site is amazing and been so helpful.

thanks for info on how your doing that incredible. So I am guessing the 12 wk diet is up to individual results ? Did you doc tell you about 12 wk mostly liquid diet after surgery or what did they tell you to do ?

Sorry, what is Tif please? I find acronyms difficult especially if they are American?
