12 weeks post op

Evening

im now 12 weeks post op and its been a relatively easy recovery :), however on friday i noticed a dull pain above my belly button and surrounding area and its got worse until this morning its now a sharp throbbing pain when i walk.

ive been to my local walk in centre and the doctor told me ive got an infection as its all swollen and bright red.

Anyone else had anything similar or able to shed any light how ive managed to get an infection.

I am about 6 1/2 weeks post-op (I had a partial nissen fundoplication, aka a toupet) and haven't had any problems as of yet. Definitely call your surgeon and let him/her know what's going on, I would imagine they'd want to see the situation for themselves. Hope you feel better soon.
