hi i have gerd for 2 years and about 4 months i started to have pain on the right side 5 fingers under my right breast outside of the rib cage begins with pain and burnining sensation to the middle of the stomach and everything becomes darker in my eyes all my body gets weak and fatigue fainting feeling i start shakeing, at last my stomach its in pain with gases and overacidity bloating. please i need your help thank you

Hi oiram

I had similar attacks of pains about 2yrs back. My GE doc said that it was spasm and was related to the GERD problem. In his opinion these pains could be worst than delivery pains. But as far I know pains were such that I had heart attack and I was going to die. Such was the intensity of those pains. It looks like that medicines you are taking need to be changed. Pl. consult your GE doctor at an earliest.

hi ,
before i was diagonised as having GERD i also used to have have similar pains -i had this this gripping pain in my chest and of course i thot the worst that i was having a heart atack ..i went to thedoc and they suspected acidity -after many antacids the pain kept recuriing -it was not until i went weak dizzy and in severe pain that they took me in for all possible tests and they found everyting was ok and what i was feeling was actually continuos heart burn right below the heart ..
i know how painful it is ...........
my life has totally changed and finding this forum has uplifted my spirits.
