Hi - Has anyone tried almond milk (silk) when having heart burns. Yes, it has sugar. I tried it and it worked - even at the middle of the night - and I felt better. I can sleep as well. No rebound later due to it as well (I think).

Does dairy give a rebound effect. Dairy, makes me feel better but I wonder about
the rebound effect of dairy.

Blue Diamond Unsweetened Almond Milk has NO sugar and only one gram of protein per 8 oz serving at 30 calories but Provides a decent amount of calcium. I've been told that dairy milk is high protein and encourages acid reflux. I drink almond milk everyday. Of course, this is my personal opinion and is not an ad for this product. I've not gotten sick from alm milk.

I love Almond Milk, vanilla, and sweetened...no rebound. Plus, I found Muscle Milk, vanilla, to be very satisfying.

Wrica peace,
I am thinking of giving up dairy. Going vegan. Did that help you a lot and how long did it take if indeed it did.
Also, I think protein makes reflux more than anything. Especially chicken. Red meat not so much. But chicken does me in.
I used to work out a lot and drank/ate too much protein ......
