For those that take Carafate liquid

how do you travel with it?

meaning first how do you package it up to take with you

and 2ndly i worry in these hot summer months being out for a long time with it in a bag cause i would think the heat would affect the medicine

so this concerns me

any advice?

Try to get the carafate tablets, I know there a little big, but it would be idea. I have never had any luck with carafate, it gave me worse abdominal cramps than I already experience.

i was on the tablets but my esophagus got worse the tablets wont coat that like the liquid does

I agree that Carafate suspension (liquid) is the best option.  Call your pharmacist and ask about temperature requirements and what they recommend.  If you're traveling, you can also ask your pharmacist or a smaller bottle that is easier to carry with you.

This is a Canadian generic (an I'm sure much cheaper) version of Carafate suspension.  While I know that it's not "Carafate" specifically, Sulcrafate is the generic term for Carafate, so I expect that this is exactly the same thing (probably tastes different).  FYI here's a link to the PDF doc I got the information from.  It also has lots of other details about it as well:
