Welcome to Healing Well amd the Wrapped Club.
First off anti nausea meds won't do anything to your recovery except stop you from dry heaving. Dry heaving is very bad for the wrap.
I have had a script
for phenergan since mt 1st nissen in '06. I keep a few with me at all times just in case. I would ask them again for it and if they won't budge ask your PCP.
If you are in pain your surgeon should be doing something about
it. Pain can stop you from staying properly hydrated and fed. Be your own advocate about
this and don't take no for an answer.
I'll be willing to write your doctor for you if they won't properly take care of this. And yes, after care and instructions are a huge pet peeve of mine following this surgery.
My email is available if you need more extensive answers.
Also eating a 1/4 to 1/2 cup per meal about
4 to 8 times a day is the best way to eat following this surgery during recovery. This recovery is also a fairly long one and patience is a must
Take care,
Bill
