Migz,It takes time to heal those things, so try not to get too down about it. Did the ENT suggest increasing your dose of pantoprazole? Before my surgery, I couldn't get relief with just one a day, so I was increased to two 40mg tablets of pantoprazole...one before breakfast and one before dinner. Please read the document available at this link to ensure that you're taking the medication properly:

Have you elevated the head of your bed? A great deal of damage can be done by acid that migrates into the esophagus when you're lying flat. You can use bricks, cement blocks, wooden blocks, or even unused books, to elevate the head of your bed 7-8 inches.
This lets gravity help keep stomach acid where it belongs. I have always used 2 wooden 2X6 boards under bed risers that can be purchased online or at a store like Bed Bath and Beyond.
If you can't do that with the type of bed frame you have, then you can buy a long foam wedge to sleep on. It's important not to slide down on it and let it bend you in half and put pressure on your stomach.
Hang in there!
Best wishes,
Denise
