Hi guys, I've posted a few times re my incessant burping, which still keeps happening but I have noticed a few things and it might help others with similar issues, post Nissen or not, I noticed one or two posts about
burping issues.
I have noticed a massive reduction when I am taking tramadol. This tells me that anxiety has a big part to play, since the tramadol relaxes me a lot. I have also seen a reduction when I am distracted. I would encourage anyone else with particularly regular dry burps to think about
relaxation techniques. I couldn't accept it was perhaps a a nervous issue but it looks like it might at least play a part.

Hi Liz,
Great insight...thanks for sharing! It's easy to become focused on your upper GI tract and symptoms when recovering from surgery. The relaxation exercise is a great idea!
Best wishes,
Denise
