bravo 48 hours without and 48 hours with medicine

I just got my egd and bravo today morning. Everything looked good inside but I still asked the doc to biopsy the esophagus before I went under. I must tell you that I was stressing like crazy before the procedure to the point that the nurse had to put a cold towel on my forehead and do some breathing exercises with me (I'm a wimp). I had really bad heartburn this morning and was a little short of breath from reflux so my anxiety was to the roof. Before they put me under I said I can't catch my breath and then the sleep doc said my oxygen was at a 100% and that's the last thing I remember. Woke up crying which happened to me with my egd two months ago as well (don't know why) my mom came in the nurse went over the pager one more time, talked to the doc for a bit and shortly after was on my way. Thank god I don't feel it inside but when I swallow there is this funny sensation like an electric spasm after I swallow. Trying to eat bad and smoking and surely feeling it now. Cleaned my closet made sure I bend down a lot now laying down almost flat as I'm writing . So far felt reflux, chest pain and tightness but no heartburn which my mom is working on by making dinner which involves frying. I'm a little scared to eat thinking how horrible it will make me feel need some words of encouragement.

Mine is that capsule inside my esophagus I just ate dinner which was definitely not gerd friendly and I had my cigarette let's see as I mentioned in my earlier post I'm a wimp :)

Hi Laurie thanks again dr. Gordon is great and all her staff is awesome. My manometry is on the 23rd of this month. I'm a little worried because I'm not feeling as symptomatic as I usually do . Like this morning I woke up with the horrible heartburn. Any feedback. I think I will have some white bread with nutella later :)By the way the both tests cost me about 2200 which I think is very reasonable. If anybody need them done in Chicago area and pays out of pocket like I do please e-mail me for info, but all the credit goes to you Laurie if I had to do it in the hospital it would triple that amount.
