I did it by stopping eating chocolate, cakes and anything sweet unless it was a special occasion or someone had made an effort like buying or making a cake.
Cutting right back on alcohol.
Eating a little less than usual at every meal.
Having nuts as snacks, no muffins etc.
Exercise a little more than normal. Take the stairs etc.
So, nothing that's lifechanging, just things that make you burn more than you use.
