surgery

Well haven't been on here in a while, hope everyone is doing well and getting support here as I know I did when I had my Nissen Fundo in 2009. After throwing up twice my wrap has went up in my chest and I have a hernia. My new surgeon says that everyone needs to throw up sometimes and he has found that a partial wrap works better, so I am scheduled for a redo on March 13. I would appreciate everyone's prayers for he said he wont know until he goes in that he will know if he can do it laparoscopic or have to make an incision in my side.

Thank you! I am glad the Xanax is helping your spasms. I have those once in a great while. When I first felt it, I thought it was my heart. I am starting to get a little nervous about my redo operation. I had my first Nissen in our small home town hospital, but this time they are sending me to the city to a very large hospital to a very prominent surgeon! How long ago did you have your wrap?
