My appointment with my surgeon that did my NF in September didn't go well. He is insisting on another ph monitor, endoscopy - even though a recent CT clearly shows a large hiatal hernia and fundus in my chest. I really need to find a new surgeon that will do the re-do properly and accept it was done wrong the first time.
The morning after surgery, I remember Dr. Soper telling me he almost had to open me, the hiatal hernia was so big. I brought that up the other day and he acknowledged it but didn't want to discuss what might have gone wrong. He said he would have to open me for a redo.
The surgeon that Bill typically talks about at Loyola is no longer in Chicago - he moved to Boston. Does anyone else have a suggestion?
