Yeah, as soon as you have a nissen done, adhesion tissue is created internally that prohibits the insertion (and funtionality) of the LINX. I doubt any doctor would risk their career on disobeying the manufacturer's guidelines, especially this early in the LINX's lifespan. I went through the same line of thinking. We were born too soon.
I'm sorry you both have had problems with your NF.
However, aside from being able to take down, it seems like the NF is a better controlling option than the LINX. Other than not changing the anatomy how is the LINX better? I would actually be more concerned about
long term complications from the LINX vs having an NF.
