Has anyone had a second nissen fundoplication done?

I have LPR and I do not respond well to reflux.
Therefore the surgery was a complete failure.
I am considering a second fundoplication.
Has anyone else had the fundoplication done a second time with success?

 Hiya dshon, ive had a redo after my first operation didnt go well.My first was a 360 degree wrap which caused me to be very ill,i then had to go to another surgeon to redo the fundo to a partial 200 degree wrap.The difference is amazing. The first surgeon did not carry out manometry and missed the fact i had a motility problem.

Hi,my symtoms where never really diagnosed properly in my opinion because i had a very poor gastro doctor who just handed me large doses of ppis which never seem to resolve my problems.
My symtoms were nausea,constant cough,nasal drip,burping and trapped air in my esophagus.I also has esophagitis a few times.
It took five years of illness for the doctor to send to see a surgeon who also seemed in experienced with acid reflux.
I wish i would have been more thorough before surgery because it put me through hell. Barry
