ACTUAL LUMP IN THROAT!!! PLEASE HELP!

I had a xray of my esophagus/ stomach and said there was no evidence of a hiatal hernia or strictures.. it did say that I have circumcial erosions severe grade 3 gerd. But when I got a endoscopy done about 6 years ago I did have a hiatal hernia.
I have gerd or lpr.... I am in going to see an ENT but need some advice.

I frequently get food stuck in my throat... this one time that i got food stuck I stuck my finger down my throat and I felt a hard big bump down in my throat. Its prerry scary and I am curious to know what it is.
Anyone who has an idea please please help.

Your ENT doctor will insert a flimsy instrument thru your nose on your first visit that has a camera at the end of it to examine your larynx. Don't worry because it doesn't hurt as he will numb you a little bit in the nostrils. He will be able to determine if there is a tumor or anything else. I also had a hiatal hernia in 2005 but just last month, a barium swallow test revealed that it was not there which i thought was kind of weird. Praying for you. Hang in there.

Hi,
New to this forum. Just went to the ENT and now getting a cat scan. There is a thing called a glossal pharangyeal cyst. that isn't the right spelling... but it usually is attached under your chin and can interfere with swallowing. You can't see it in the scope, that would be normal..but I have a giant lump too. I think for the most part are benign.
