Can someone recommend a great LPR/vocal paresis doctor in NYC area?

I have been to Dr. Koufman (bad experience) and had bad experiences with two different ENT guys, now seeing a laryn-doctor, who seems pretty good, but he thinks my case is difficult, if not impossible to solve. Can anyone recommend a doctor you loved who helped you in the NYC area?

My husband and I both go to Dr. Koufman and wouldn't go anywhere else.

Faith I have to agree with you, Dr. K saved my life because she was the only one to diagnose me correctly after many years of suffering. Unfortunately, though she has now recommended me to have the surgery, as the meds and diet no longer work for me (I have been seeing her for 3 years) I still think of her as my miracle doctor.
Like you with diet and the medication, my husband has improved tremendously. He has even been taken off of PPIs, and is throat was almost closed shut only 3 months ago.

I hear the surgery helps a great deal, although it is a major decision. Have you improved at all? What is her explanation for why you would need surgery, as opposed to your husband? Rather, why does she think the meds/diet aren't working for you?
