Acid Reflux H.Pylori and Horrible Symptoms

I forgot to mention you, the antibiotics will create stress, depression and anxiety for you.

Yes its the gastritis and antibiotics and h.pylori are fighting eachother. Gastritis as air goes to your lung and to your other part of your body and heart and creates pain and you think you have heart attack but its untrue. Antibiotics helps to cure your h.pylori but there is always a side effects comes with it and it is Gastritis. You might get sore throat sometimes and best is to drink hot milk and honey a little.

You want to know my symptoms and experience I had, well welcome to my world.

1. I had gastritis and lots of sore throats becuase of antibiotics and pain all over body.

2. Dry throat, drink water plenty.

3. I did not sleep for 5 days constantly, I mean not 1 min sleep but it not made me tired at all or sleepy, it made me awake. After 5 days, I was able to sleep like a baby again, but remember its up to your body how it will reach with antibiotics and fighting with it.

4. bloating it was for 1 month.

5. pumping air as Exessive burping, after antibiotics, you need to have a lot of yogurt. My burping decreased up to 90% now and I do not think or want to do, because it will automatically stop and in your mind.

6. Weak, I was very weak and tired a lot but when antibiotics course is finished, I started to get my health back with yogurts and vegetables and chicken and fish. Because you need to get your strenght back but it will take time and give time to heal your body, never rush.

Yes very a lot of mild chest pain, but it will go away slowly but not straight away, it takes times, even you finished your antibiotics, you will still have chest pain of the side effects.

Your Cervical Disc as Disease! it creates Neck pain and arm pain and sometimes difficulty walking as well. Your GI will give you first option might be as exercise regularly as physical therapy, but if your Cervical Disc is very serious, they do a normal surgery with no problem. You and your GI must listen eachother and work together, so he can listen to your problems well and GI advise to you, so its best thing is before you see him, give him a good list things you have problems or you need something from him. When I went to my GI, I had a full list of thing I want to be examined as like manometry and 24hr PH monitor and stomach-emptying test. He recommended me to endoscopy first as it was normal and I am happy with the results, so he than recommended me now for 24hr PH monitor and after that for manometry and I hope to ask him to do two more test as for stomach-emptying test and barium swallow, So I would still have 4 more test to go. I had barium swallow before it was normal as I remember before and no mention of hiatus hernia that was. To tell you truth I think my Acid Reflux is getting better now as before, even my h.pylori is gone, I need to give my stomach plenty time to heal a lot, maybe 1 year or less, it depends on the body but as my mission is to lose more weight and get slim myself well. I eat slowly and regularly and well, this past months when I was eating and taking PPI, food was coming out from my mouth as some and it was annoying and it was a terrible acid reflux as well. But when I had h.pylori and taking ppi nothing was working that time, until antibiotics that helped me calm down a little bit but now I give time my stomach to heal.

Antibiotics,PPI,H.pylori, and your stomach, you are going to have a major gas for now, it will go away and come and go away, its tricky but its doing its best to calm down soon.

Did you done Endoscopy by anychance yet? if yes, have they said anything about your hiatus hernia?

This Saturday, I have an appointment with my GI and will mention what you have said and will list down all the things happening to me all this while.

sorry for responding lately after the appointment.

I am feeling a bit better as compared to earlier, but sometimes I have pain and burning in stomach and throat.

Regarding my H.Pylori, doctor has advised to stop antibiotics as I have to undergo breath test after 4 weeks.

Regarding my left arm pain, its because of my cervical disc problem.

Hi,

Its good to hear your H.pylori is good! Yes stool test its very important to be sure that H.pylori that is gone completely.

You see as I did Breathing test, it was negative but when I send my stool sample it came positive. Afterwards I did twice stool test, its negative now!

If you leave it like that, bacteria can grow again, so don't leave them alive, be sure of those.

Your Doctor, you mean GI or Surgery?

For stomach upset, do you mean gas bloating? If you have Gas bloating or as you said stomach upset, have a lot of Natural Yogurt, it helps a lot to get ride of it! You can also have GingerTea, Even Banana.



Does GERD persist even after H.Pylori is gone??

Well for that you need to make appointment from your Surgery Doctor as to see a GI as Gastroenterologist, before seeing him/Her, ask your surgery Doctor to make appointment for Endoscopy, they can book it for you. When you see your Gastroenterologist, asking that you would like to do Esophageal Manometry, 24-Hour Esophageal pH Study, Esophageal Manometry

Esophageal Manometry: This will show how is your lower esophageal sphincter and swallowing difficulty, heartburn, or chest pain, Spasm.

24-Hour Esophageal pH Study:

24-hour pH monitoring Test allows to measure the amount and severity of acidic stomach contents that maybe leaking-up from the stomach into the esophagus. These measurements are taken for a 24-hour period so that we can see what happens after your meals and at night when you are asleep. The test will also show us how well your symptoms are related to the presence of acid in your esophagus.

When you done all those test, and if they all normal completely, we than might see that you have Low stomach Acid, we will deal with it after you done all the test
