Hello there,
I recently started reading some forums here on feeling well and it was nice to see the support members give to each other. I am a 27 year old usually healthy female. Over the last few months I've developed some dysphagia issues. I was put on Pepcid which didn't do much, then protonix, and now recently have been prescribed Prilosec 2 times a day. I had an upper GI done on 12/8 and everything can back normal. Still, I have continued to have trouble swallowing food. While I eat I am having to yawn or gaspthen after this I end up with a bloated stomach. I always feel like I'm chocking or can't swallow my food. At almost every meal I have to spit out my food when I get these feelings. I am so discouraged to the point where I don't like to eat, and I used to very much enjoy food. This has been going on for about 2 months and only seems to be getting worse. Everyone around me thinks it can be anxiety or stress, but I get scared and think it may be something more serious. I spend my days worrying about this, and thinking that maybe something's missing or it may be too late when they do find something :( I am scheduled to see an ENT on the 7. And my doctor is supposed to schedule me for an esophogram. If anyone has suggestions or kind words it is welcomed :)
Thanks!
Tina
