So, I'm about 18 months post Nissen and 2 months post gallbladder removal. Lately, I've felt pretty bloated. Is that still normal? I suppose it feels like it could be air.

Hi smooth,

From what I've read, bloating can be a side effect of gallbladder surgery.

I've had bloating issues ever since gall bladder removal in Dec. of 2009! I'm still suffering with GERD, too. My posts are all over this board for various issues. Sorry I can't offer something positive....

I felt really bloated for about 3 months after gallbladder surgery. I walked alot. It was the only way i could deal with it. It takes the inside of your body alot longer to heal than the outside. Hope you get to feeling better!

Thanks. It's come on kind of recently. I do not exercise nearly enough.
