I answered this in your other post. DO stock up! Clear liquids and some with milk which are called "full" liquids. Get some puddings and applesauce and other fruits - babyfood is good.
Google post fundoplication diets. There are several that will show you what you can eat and what you should avoid, like gassy foods. You won't be able to burp or vomit for at least a while. I can burp after 5 years, but still can't vomit.
Ask the doctor for a prescription for Zofran and take 4 mg if you START to get queasy. Get your flu shot.
I made my own juices, broths and drinks and froze them because I don't tolerate preservatives and lactose. I used a whole chicken to make broth, and made processed meat from the meat.
Don't even think about beef for a few months. Even ground beef is too hard. Ground chicken is much softer. My local grocery store has it, and I still prefer it for chili or soups, etc.
