Hello everyone, my name is Zoe and this is my first post.
I had surgery yesterday. Hiatus hernia repair and 300 degree wrap.
I just got home from hospital and my stomach is soooo distended and I'm in a lot of pain from the gas. Any suggestions on how to relieve it. I can burp occasionally but nothing's happening at the other end. Ouch!
Thanks in advance!

Congratulations. What you are experiencing is very normal, the best thing you can do is to walk around as much as possible. It does eventually disappear.

Thanks Sharon, I'm feeling pretty good apart from the gas!

Hi all, so day 2 after surgery and I've had diarrhea all day. Pain with breathing, swollen gassy tummy and not really hungry at all. Only managed about
350 calories today. Thought it would be easier than this. Lol wish I could fast forward a month!
