Throat/Ear/Mucus Issues

I am looking to see if anyone else has had these problems/symptoms. It started in October like I had something caught in my throat or had a lump. A few days later my right ear - the eustacian tube became plugged or dysfunctional and has been ever since. I now have mucus in my throat that sometimes is sticky - always white - and sometimes in a ring like configuration. I sometimes feel like I have something caught in my throat.

From reading your symptoms it sounds like a condition called LPR. This is when acid from the stomach comes up and irritates your throat area. You will create a lot of throat mucous in order to protect the delicate vocal cords and larynx. My suggestion would be to see an ENT doctor and they can do a test of the throat area to confirm LPR. It is a difficult condition to get under control. I have dealt with it for 8 months. I've been on a ppi acid reducer with ongoing symptoms.
