The instructions say its not to be split, crushed or chewed, but I really think 40 mg is too much for me. Does anyone know why they recommend not to?
Thanks!

I am on tecta 40mg and was told very specifically by both the doctor and pharmacist not to break, chew or crush them...I am not sure why but they were diligent is telling me..talk to your doctor first.
