Hi everyone, at first i just want to apologize for my bad English. :).
I'm 22 and i live in Poland. My gastro problem's started one month ago. I felt pain in my stomach so some doctor prescribe me omeprazol 20 mg for 4 weeks. I had good endoscopy. Just a little bit red stomach skin. After 3 weeks i tried to stop takeing PPI. But after 8 day without PPI i had very large heartburn (first time in my life). So i came back to takeing PPI 10 mg/day. Now i will see my doctor in wednesday. and we will try to do another examinations. I heard that you can't cure GERD.

But i found some optimistic videos. What do you think about it?

Welcome to the forum.

Maybe you can't cure GERD, but there are many ways of keeping it under control.

The medicine your doctor prescribed was one of the ways to control the acid, but it's not the only one. Zantac is also a good thing to start with, and there are others.

Unfortunately, when you try to stop taking the medicines, you get a "rebound" reaction. It gets worse for a while. But the worse reflux should stop after a while.

Your best resource is your doctor. I'm glad you are seeing one.

Ok now i waiting for diagnose and other test's. We have in Polish some doctor who said: Usually valve from stomach can't be closed just because pressure is to low. And to make good pressure you need to have ph between 1-2,5 ph. You can test it when you don't take PPI for 7 day's maybe more. 24/h ph test's. hmm he said that he helped a lot of people with GERD. Because we have 3 types of gerd
1.Anatomy bad valve.
2. To much acid - Zollinger
3. To low acid.

I have one more question. How can I support my organism with suplementacji like. Amino acid, iron, calcium, magnesium :). Ow and the last one thing. When you take medicine for along time - do you have erection?
