It's a long recovery but it sounds like you got past the worst of it. Scrambled eggs were my best friend when I was able to eat soft food again too. And yes you do lose some muscle mass...mainly from not being as active and losing weight quickly due to the diet restrictions. I'd like to say the bloating/gas goes away...it does, but for me it took about
a good year or so for the worst of it to subside. The tiniest thing would make me gassy lol 😳
