I was wondering if anyone else feels like since having the surgery they can not sit upright comfortabally. I feel like since having surgery the only way I am comfortable is when I am sitting and leaning towards the right. I also feel like I can only sleep on my right as well. I was wondering if this was common or if it was just me. I am going for a redo next week or the following and I was wondering if anyone else felt this way.

The first week for me sitting upright was excruciating because of her shoulder pain. That part took weeks to go away and I took all the Vicodin I had to to deal with the shoulder pain caused by the diaphragm's nerve being irritated and referring pain to the left shoulder.

I could not lay on either side for a couple of months and was not a happy back sleeper...but you get through it.
Best thing for getting rid of the shoulder pain for me was a lot of walking. Given weather and how I felt this was basically 5-10 minutes of loops around the house at least 4x day.
