I'm first surgery of the morning tomorrow. Stomach is a total bunch of anxious nerves but I'm a wee bit excited by the possibility of having this long, uncomfortable journey end.

I look forward to sharing my road to recovery with all of you... and to reaching out here for advice often, I'm sure.

Here's to butt-bearing gowns and strong painkillers!

CaliGal ~ I thought it was Friday. I am starting my 4th week & other than the fact that I'm still somewhat SOB, I'm so so glad I had it done. Godspeed & good luck

Thanks for your kind words and healing wishes. I'm now home after a few days in the hospital. Will write up a report to share with everyone. Healing is, so far, slow going, but I've learned a lot from you all and am letting the slow path lead me in my recovery.
