Vertigo dizziness lightheadedness nausea - after fundoplication

Hi guys had a fundoplication while back

Was fine till I got stomach flu and through up

since then Ive had bad vertigo dizziness lightheadedness and nausea, especially after I eat

Anyone have any similar symptoms? Or think they might have an idea of what is going on? tests look normal EGD barium swallow Manometry

Do you have anti-nausea meds? My surgeon prescribed Zofran, which works well. There's also the Scopolamine patch which can be worn behind the ear for up to 72 hours. Maybe something like this would help to ease the nausea? Also, if you're not eating and hydrating well due to the nausea, you're likely to stay dizzy, etc.

Is there a chance you are dehydrated? That occurs a lot after surgery and especially after throwing up. Like CaliGal said, you need some Zofran (there is a cost friendly generic).
I got dehydrated (urine was darker in color) and every time I stood up I was dizzy, lightheaded and a little nauseous. I suggest two things (and I am NOT a doctor,lol).
1. Download a color chart from the internet for your urine and then see if you are dehydrated.
2. Ask your doctor for Zofran or some replacement.
