Thanks everyone. You know, it's interesting that "technically," per doctors, there's no real difference in stomach capacity. But from what I've read here and throughout the board, it sure seems that there appears or feels to be a reduction in stomach capacity. Sure, I'm certain it's possible to push and stretch it over time, over years, but, to start, it seems like most folks notice a fuller feeling far faster.
I'm only a about a week and a half post-surgery (3/11 surgery) but sure know that a very small bit fills me up. I'm fortunate so far in that I can handle all liquids and have started to very slowly add small quantities of very soft foods (thin mashed potatoes, yogurt, finely pureed egg salad, etc.) without any issues. But I know I can only do about 1/4 - 1/3 cup per sitting before being quite full for some time.
Taking it easy here, of course... I was just curious about your experiences overall. Thanks folks!
