Hi,
I'm 24, male and last April, I had a Lap Nissen Fundoplication surgery. My surgeon did what they call a "loose wrap", so it isn't too tight.
Since then, I get pain either side of my wrap
location. Especially when I sing, breath in too deep tense up my abs, get bloated or overeat a touch.
I've spoke to my surgeon and he said you might feel slightly tender at times, but keep singing and keep moving the diaphragm. However I've been taking the advice and the pain just feels bad.
I can deal with this if I know that'll it will eventually get better but the thought of having this pain for the rest of my life in an unbearable and depressing thought.
On the brighter side, the actual reflux is cured. I don't think I've had one occurrence of reflux since the surgery.
Does anyone have any advice or experience, have you ever experienced this surgery, if so. Did you have this pain for this long?
I look forward to your replies and help.
Future thanks,
Jason
